The WHALe league was started in 1985 with 8 teams participating.  It has grown to 26 teams with approximately 3,500 swimmers!

If you are a swim team that is interested in joining WHALe for the 2012 swim season, you must contact us in writing before January 18, 2012 and be prepared to present your swim team for the meeting on January, 25th.  Please contact us at board@swimwhale.com

Mission Statement

The West Houston Aquatic League (WHALe) is a recreational summer league whose main purpose is to give children an opportunity to participate in organized swimming.  The primary emphasis is in individual improvement and achievement.  Sportmanship is emphasized for all participants, children, and adults.
